UPMSP Reschedules Class 10 & 12 Exams in Prayagraj Amid Mahakumbh Festivities

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has postponed the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams scheduled for February 24 in Prayagraj due to the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela. Minister Gulab Devi announced the decision, citing the expected large influx of devotees in the city.

The postponed exams, including Class 10 Hindi and healthcare papers and Class 12 military science and Hindi papers, will now be held on March 9.

This year, over 54.37 lakh students are set to appear for the UP Board exams, which will take place from February 24 to March 12 across 8,140 examination centers. A state-level control room with 54 computers has been set up to monitor the exams and ensure strict measures against malpractice.
